Put the coin on a white background (here a business card) and place your phone on a stable stack of items so that you can suitably focus on the coin and adjust the zoom so that the coin fills most of the field. Set your picture mode to square. Use the image processing tools here to adjust image size to < 300kb.I grabbed a junker large cent out of my rando box for this pic.
