Canadian 1979 Penny Possible Clip Error ?

Last one of the night, 6 or 7 solid errors. This one appears to be a clip or partial clip.
The patina is of the red variety so that is not fresh copper, not sure the pic show, but it matches the rest of the patina.

Not a clip, a clip would go straight through leaving a semi circle.
What you have is called an indent strike.

Am I right to assume its is an indent strike? not just look like one.

Well to be an indent strike it has to look like one so I would say it is.

Here is a photo of a genuine Indent strike if you want to compare with yours.
