AU53?

This is quite an expensive coin, and the OMM is an added bonus. I don't have one, and don't want to shell out a couple hundred bucks to get even a worn/problem example, so the hole in my Dansco sits empty for now, along with the other usual suspects for stoppers such as the 1918/7 and the 37D 3 legger.

Yeah it's probably the best grade I can afford and I could only afford a raw coin so I hope it comes back a straight grade.

I hope it straight grades for you! I'm a bit leery of the obverse surfaces, tough to tell if they were messed with. I'm at AU55. Solid strike. Nice RPM, only one for this date.

if it had more luster i'd push this one to AU58. I go with AU55 also and very nice indeed.

as a side note I'm trying to find any rub or marks on that reverse that would make me think its AU. I hope it grades straight (which is should) and maybe surprise you as the grade

No grade yet but I got the ngc photovision pictures. This coin has been in Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging since 2/24 and its in the express tier so I should have a grade soon. IMO these pictures look too grainy.

The NGC photos make the coin look pitted.

Yeah I agree like it has ED in the photovision pics. They take the photos first then it goes to grading so I actually got the photo right away this time.

I despise photovision, even more so than Truview. I gave it a try on one coin just to see how they do, and it in no way portrayed the coin accurately. I'll stay at AU55 tops, could also see AU53, and still uncertain if it straight grades.
