I have been on the forums and compare my coin that I have a long side the ones with heritage auction images, so I'm thinking maybe 4/5 out of the 6 steps are there unbroken...... Maybe AU?
I know I have a 1990s nickel and boy those steps are sharp as a knife.

Damage on the top of the obverse rim drops the value on this coin. Not worth slabbing.

close, but under the second column from the left is a gap in the step line, and the bottom step is gone, so this might quality as 4 steps, which is high on a 1961D, but not big bucks

Agree, not full steps. Close, but no. That hit on the top of Jefferson's head isn't helping.

I think FS doesn't come into play until the coin is MS60
