I searched a bunch of 60's & 70's cents for RPM's. I found quite a few obvious RPM's This M/M looked odd to me because the upper "ball end" of the S looks much larger than any of the other coins from 1970.
Looks like coin contact. The devices are flattened, not enlarged. Not showing two punching with the punch. Note the evidence of the two punches and the two mintmarks on this RPM and even the punch damage is also seen as doubled.
OK. thanks guys. That RPM example from COOP is amazing. I don't have any RPM's as drastic as that so far, but just starting searching for them. The inverted M/M was just a guess on my part, only because it looked so different.
