It did clean up a bit and I have tried to add better photos.

I'm pretty certain it is a DDO but, having trouble deciding which one. I think maybe Variety Vista's listing of DDO-008. It's a rough coin so hard to determine die markers. Still fun to find. Appreciate any thoughts on this one. I have it soaking in acetone in hopes of cleaning it up a bit.

The circulation wear makes it tough but I'm with you on the 008. It can only be 003, 006 or 008 because of the direction of the doubling and the 008 looks the best. In the end, I based it on the date, the 2 in particular. Nice find!

Thanks makecents. It was fun to find even though. I keep thinking about all the beautiful regular 1972's I have found...It is looking a little better in the acetone. Check it tomorrow.

Looks like circulation flattening to me.
Better closeups might help.

It's a doubled die, with circulation flattening, merclover.
