Lincoln Cent 1987 D RPM - Is This Significant?

I found this cent yesterday in a friend's pile of loose change. It seems to have 2 weak copies of the D mintmark. This is due to a re-punched mint mark, correct? Does the distance and rotation of the second mark increase the significance/value of this find?

Please forgive the lack of multiple pictures - this is the only one I thought to take at the time, and I don't have access to it at the moment to take more; my friend still has it.

The plating was split on the SE corner of the mintmark. Not a plus for the coin now a countdown for it as the zinc rot has already started. Spender.

Oh! Phooey. I didn't realize that was a thing with punched mint marks. It makes sense, though. Once again, thank you for the correction and information!

Coin appears to have been damaged post mint. No premium afraid.
