The presentation boxes with certificates of authenticity? Those things take up so much space and will eventually fade, come apart, and dry rot. It takes a long time but they're annoying right now.

Slabbed coins don't have the COA's with them. Does it hurt their value? Thanks guys!

If I have a single coin (like the Silver Eagles) and the COA - I'll save the COA even if I slab the coin.
On other sets (like proof sets, if I break out the coin to fill a Dansco album, I'll toss everything (except the coins of course)
But I still keep some sets in the OGP - careful storage can help keep the boxes in good shape. (have every mint set from 1950 to present in OGP and all are in good shape, so far)

Keep them. Put them in a re-sealable Glad Bag or the like.

Toss them.

I keep all the original mint materials in a box. It does not take up that much room, but your mileage may vary.

On some of the older cello's the coins can be affected by the packing material. (Altering the coins) But handling of the coins can pit fingerprints on the coins that can be permanent. So is a six for one, half a dozen for another. Your choices.
