hello found a $50 with serial number 04710471 I don't know a whole lot on this subject but is it something that might be worth holding on to also it is Not uncirculated noticeable crease vertically and horizontally so I don't know if the serial number would make up for that at all any advice welcome thanks for your time....

The note's serial number is known as a Repeater. It's fairly obvious that the note has seen some circulation and exhibits some signs of handling and staining. If you collect strictly from circulation or you generally like it, it's a keeper.

Nice find. Keepable if you like it and can afford to keep it but no added premium because of condition.

It's unlikely to ever have much collector value due to the worn condition. If it was a $1 or maybe $5 I might keep it - but as a $50 I would spend it.

It would be a spender for me in this condition.
