1968 Lincoln Memorial - Need Help Identifying Error Or Damage

coincurious1010 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 02/23/2023 2:25 pm Hello Everyone, I am very new to this addicting hobby and would appreciate some help with Identifying a possible strike through or filled die error or post mint damage. The coin is a 1968 (P) Lincoln Memorial cent found in a penny roll from a bank. I have added some photos, I hope the quality is good enough. Thank you for any help! JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21620 Posts	Posted 02/23/2023 3:19 pm to the CCF Just damage. Tip- An error can only occur during the actual striking of the coin in the coining press. Anything that happens after that is considered damage. Suggest learning how coins are minted ( there are online sites to learn from), then you would know what to look for and could probably eliminate over 90% of the coins you are questioning as damage.
