What is the key differences between Machine Doubling & Die Deterioration? They both seem to be very similar?.

With MD, the devices will be narrowed and step like (the doubling will be a bit lower)
with DDD you will notice that the apparent doubling will always slide towards the rim all the way around a coin. (at the top - towards the rim above, at the bottom - towards the rim below etc.)

Did you click on the light blue words, excellent explanations there.

Basically a MD has reduced devices. with step like Doubling.
On a DD, the devices are the same size with flow marks that head
towards the rims making the devices look like they are Doubled.
