using a Dcorn coin scopoe with just the scope light on not the side lights it shows up without any lights on but then the picture quality is grainy

This is as close as I can get and still focus. The 1st pic is center scope light only, the 2nd pic is scope light and both side lights and the 3rd pic is no lights

Possibly 1955S-1MM-007 The MM location is close to several this year.

Thinking will need more than just the mint mark photos here. I'm thinking the MM punch was altered/damaged from use. May there be more markers to go by if we see the full obverse and reverse of coin? Thanks, Doug.

I always classified them as " Cuds" for lack of a better word. Die Chip works better I suppose.

The inside left side of the mintmark is showing mintmark punch damage. But agree that it maybe a match for the 1955S-1MM-007

I didn't see this listed on the V.V site to on Wexler's list. It looks like a match to me. You might submit better images to the Coppercoins site? The light should be towards the upper right side to show the RPM better. It maybe an earlier die state of that die for coppercoins?
