Wouldn't a person willing to shell out $1,750 for this coin know that it is the 502 and its position in the condition census anyway? Otherwise why would they pay $1,750 for this coin. If you list it for sale, just say what it is in the listing and people who are interested will know what it is.

The only reason to cross it would be to sell to someone putting together a PCGS registry set. In that case it makes sense but it could come back in a details holder. Not likely but who knows?

I would sell it as an unattributed FS-502 and let another gambler try to cross it.

Yes, that would be an option. It is the type of RPM that there is no real question to which it is, so a buyer that knew the variety would be okay with it.

I'm going to keep it like it is for a while.

Do I see a slightly doubled "S" with a die chip or am I just wishful thinking? Nice, nice coin!
