Hi Bryan--

I like this Morgan. Sharp strike, no obvious marks in the fields, rims look OK, the "abrasions" on Liberty's face may be more a function of the image but I'm not sure about that little mark next to her eye and, on the reverse, the wings and head look "smudged", but again, this looks to me more like a function of the image (compressed?).

Comparing this Morgan with my own PCGS CC Morgan collection, I'd say at least MS-64 with MS-65 very possible; I don't think it'll make MS-66, but it's close based on the image.

A very nice Morgan!

maybe these will help. I think the marks will kep it in the 64 range but wanted a second opinion because as I have stated before my grading skills are lacking experience

Those two marks on the cheek are a shame - otherwise that's a huge coin. My guess is it'd slab MS64 but sell for MS65 money. It wouldn't shock me to see it graded 65.

Ouch! Those Reeding Marks on her cheek hurt! They're worse than I thought, but I think it'll still grade MS-63, maybe -64. I've got two PCGS CCs which have almost identical cheek marks, one a little worse than the other, so they graded out at -63 and -64. If you get it graded by PCGS, don't be surprised by MS-62; PCGS is on a Morgan hate campaign these days. Go with ANACS for a fair grade if you go the grading direction; it may still come back MS-62, but at least you'll know they aren't out to knock down the population reports.

A reference collection really helps me grade coins. I need an MS-67 CC Morgan, so the Jack Lee MS-67 93-CC will really fill a hole in my collection. Thanks for pointing it out!
