Anyone have any thoughts on this dime that is missing a M? It's very smooth so it doesn't look like it was worn off.

Looks like a partial Grease Filled Die.
Quite common and adds no value.

Small Grease Fill on the reverse letter. Only worth a premium if most of the design is missing:

Reverse is a minor Struck Through Grease and the obverse is a minor MAD.

As coop and others have stated, the worth of a Greaser is dependent on the percentage of coin covered. Regardless, I personally love finding these. So far I'll put them in 2x2 and give away to people that feign interest in what I do with my nights.
