I've been looking & can't find any others so far, but this is for sure a Die break going from the E in liberty thru the back of his head & right above his ear!
If this was the other profile of him, it would kind of look like the bullet trail from when he got shot!

RockieDog, die breaks / cracks are quite chaotic in appearance - never in a straight line.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

I agree, never strait. Is just molecular structure of the Dies material.
