The charm was struck though and not cast. Sap Moderator Australia 16810 Posts	Posted 03/04/2023 09:36 am The inscription is "coin-like", but is not a standard inscription found on genuine coins. It says "Wen Hua tong bao". "Wen hua" literally means "flowery language" or "cultured language", but is a term sometimes used for the Mandarin language. "tong bao" is the usual inscription found on coins and means "current coin". The double-dragon symbol is one seen on coins from the Chinese Imperial period.
