Got this today in purchase change. Dark metallic color with a light copper haze covering most of it. Saw 2 different mint annealing error examples online. Look like it to you ? Pictures are pretty close to the appearance.

Might be a once buried coin, environmental damage not an annealing error.

Agree this is an environmental toning issue. Fire, buried in the ground - whatever. It did not leave the mint looking like that.

Look at the high areas and you can see silver like material, therefore confirming it is environmental discoloration.
