Hello Everyone! Nice little cherrypick; I think that it's nicer than Reiver's... they're still out there. Too bad NGC didn't perfectly center the coin before encapsulation.

I wonder if you could rotate it in the slab slightly to make the 180 degree rotation more pronounced? Great pickup!

#1., The "obv" looks pretty well squared to me. If you did manage to square up the "rev.", I think it would throw the "obv" out of square.

#2., Being a medal strike would make that coin a keeper even if it were cleaned with a wire brush. Nice pick-up.

The rotated die census rates the 1/2 cent from 1825 as an R5, meaning 31 to 80 specimens are believed to exist with rotations between 90 and 180 degrees. Nice one!
