Barbers aren't my wheel house but I picked this one years ago for the Re-punched date on the 19 of 1902 . The extra 1 shows to the south under the base and a bit under the top serif. The 9 shows a bit to the south.
I never have found a reference that lists this die.
Anyone have a Barber dime reference that they know of ?

Nothing in Bowers' guide to Barber Silver Coins, nothing in Lawrence's Complete Guide to Barber dimes, here https://archive.org/details/compgui.../n1/mode/2up
Kevin Flynn's Authoritative Reference on Barber dimes might have it, but I don't have a copy. It could easily be a new discovery too - I discovered one on the 1901-O.

The Lawrence book is a good resource, although some things are incomplete/outdated. For example the two reverse types he describes are now known for all 1901-1905 S mint, and there is a third short-lived reverse type introduced in 1900. His references for quarters and halves are also online, links to them here. http://www.barbercoins.org/Links.shtml

Great photos by the way.

Edit - you might check through the BCCS journal archives, it may have been published there. Unfortunately the archives only go through 2015. I know they're working on making a thorough varieties section on the website but it's a huge project. https://nnp.wustl.edu/library/publi...etail/511173
