Hey everyone. Hope all is well. I came across a 2010 Arizona Quarter that is double stamped on all lettering on the back. I am new to coin collecting and am still learning the ins and outs but I love the community. Thank you all in advance who answer. If the picturess don't come through correctly I apologize as I am still learning the new website. Any advice or guidance for posting is also greatly accepted.
I am getting a new Microscope hopefully tomorrow and will be able to post better pictures.

Looks like MD not a doubled die.

Classic MD, very common on that series.
Your pictures are quite good but please include a complete photo
of both sides of the coin when posting.
Also FYI, a Doubled Die is a variety, not an error, big difference.

The striation lines are showing movement of the die post strike, thus altering the coin. They are not on the die like a doubled die would be, but just die movement post strike. All the DDR's are located on this design on the centers of the design. Because these devices are incuse, (raised on the die) they movement makes the devices larger in size. So the devices are enlarged, with Machine Doubling. Raised and incuse devices have different affect on these doubled dies and Machine Doubling.

This is great info. Still learning the differences. But that helps me a lot and makes sense the difference between double die and MD. Thank you all.

My new microscope shows it will be delivered today and I will get better pictures. I also have a 2000 with an actual double stamp. Should I start a new thread for that or post it here when I get good pictures?

Always start a new thread for each coin.
It is confusing when there is more than one coin per thread.

Make sure to use a memory card in your scope. Not a good idea to take a photo of the scopes screen,in case that was your plan.

My Two Cents worth (I know, bad pun), I'd keep this one in a 2x2. Interesting example of MD on incused lettering.
