Spent the last hour trying to get best close up have coin microscope with broken stand and one that clips on my phone both failed me. Just would like to know if you can tell by the pictures if it's a double die..looking through my 8x loop I can see it on the N,GOD, and the R in Trust

Sorry but no.

Flat, shelf like appearance that makes the devices smaller is an indicator of Machine Doubling, often referred to as well as Strike Doubling. This is a common occurrence that has no numismatic premium.

Keep it if it appeal to you.

Not seeing a doubled die. Try filtering your light source to cut down on the light glare.

Note the affected areas on your coins devices? All the affected areas are now flat, showing a 90 degree area where the Machine Doubling ended. On a doubled die, the devices will be enlarged. But also consider that post 1972 on dimes, the DDO's don't have hardly any listings.

Pretty much a waste of time for looking for these. But the DDR's are something to check out to see what there is on post 1999 dime reverses:

Look up the years on these links to see where the DDR's are on this design. Your not looking in the areas for the listed examples. So train your eyes on what areas and what these DDR's look like. If we want to get to a destination, we look at a map? Why not training your eyes on what to look for and consider that there could be many more that are not listed, having the same areas affected? Might as well know what you are looking for, rather than swinging blindly with your eyes closed. (Baseball referenced) Know first, then your eyes will know what to look for on the dime reverses.
