In celebration of my 1500th post and in appreciation for the education/experience gained from CCF and its members. its contest time!
I attempted to build a
Lincoln Cent "small date/large date" chart with some notes underneath in hopes that this will be an "educational" contest. If you see any discrepancies or have any ideas on how to improve the spreadsheet or notes please let me know. The "BLUE" fields are coins that don't exist (to my knowledge). The "WHITE" fields are coins that have been struck at one of the mints. I built the chart in Excel but had to save it as an image to post it. If anyone wants a copy of the Excel file send me a PM. I will be giving away THREE different uncirculated
Lincoln Wheat cent varieties to FOUR winners. Yes, each of the four winners will receive three coins!
Rules:
1. Choose one "WHITE" cell from the chart, i.e. "1960 SD - P", "1974 LD (Aluminum) - D", "1970 LD - S-Proof" etc.
2. "BLUE" cells are INVALID choices as these coins do not exist (that I know of). Please only choose one "WHITE" cell.
3. Due to limited number of valid guesses, only ONE pick per person for the contest.
4. I have all eligible choices written on a piece of paper in a bucket. When all of the valid cells have been chosen, my grandchildren will draw the winning cells.
5. I will reveal all winners in one post.
6. Each of the FOUR winners will pick THREE coins from the list of eligible prizes at the bottom of this post. No duplicates; must be three different coins.
7. In the prize list, I included links to my CCF posts if you want to take a look at pictures of each variety.
8. Every CCF member is eligible and I pay shipping (US and International).
9. Please ask if you need me to clarify anything, I would like for this to be fun for everyone.
10. Please be patient with my timeliness, I have been super busy lately but will do my best to keep up.
11. It might take up to a week for me to get the prizes packaged and shipped. Coins will ship in unmarked mylar flips.

NOTES: Interesting (but maybe useless) information.
1960 SD is ODV-022 and 1960 LD is ODV-023. Soooo... Which ODV is the SD/LD, LD/SD and the LD/LD/SD (I don't have a clue!)
Each of the four dates contained in the chart were minted with two different ODV's but.
All 1960
LMC are RDV-001
All 1970
LMC are RDV-002
All 1974
LMC are RDV-004
All 1982
LMC are RDV-004
1974 SD and 1982 LD are both ODV-031 (Revised Portrait, Thin Date)
1974 cent was also struck in Bronze Clad Steel test alloy, supposedly ONE still exists; my assumption is that it would be LD Philadelphia Mint
1974 S cents have two different mint mark styles
MMS-008 (Tall S) - Can be found on the LD Business Strike and the LD Proof
MMS-009 (Blob S) - Can be found on the SD Business Strike and the LD Proof
