Just found what I believe to be a DDR on a 2020-P Marsh-Billings quarter. It shows an extra branch between the two branches on the right of the tree, that does not appear on any of the other versions of this coin that I have. Please excuse the poor pictures. The coin is not as beat up as it seems, just bad lighting, too much zoom, and a bad phone.
Nice catch! Mine is missing that branch. I also see a difference with the branch just above the spade. Yours has a triad , mine does not. Actually it's 4 not 3.
I don't think it is a DDR, but maybe a new variety (extra branch) If it is doubling I cannot tell from which it was doubled from - it does not follow any contours of nearby branches. Maybe a die dent or something. (it reminds me of the extra leaf on the Wisconsin quarters.)
