Found this one in a bunch of change I got from my mother. Pretty neat OBV die cracks and chips.

Wow, a lot going on with that obverse. That die didn't have much life left. Nice cracks, chips and Cuds.

These are just die events. (Part of the aging process for dies) They are the wrinkles of age like we get. But there is no Cud on this coin. A die chip on the rim area, but not a Cud yet. A Cud is the outer edge of the die breaking away.

This means retirement for the die. A die chip/crack/break events are not retirement for a die.
