Unknown Medal With Roma On It. Looks Ancient But Probably Isn't (Id: Annunciation Religious Token)

It weighs 1.11 grams and has a diameter of 16 mm.

Perhaps a Catholic religious medal, but any clues would be appreciated.

The first photo shows a scene of the annunciation. The angel Gabriel is at the right, giving the good news to Mary. The annunciation scene usually has a lily somehwere, in this case between the two figures.

It was a theme favored by the Angevin rulers in Italy circa 1300, most famously on the Saluto d'Oro and Saluto d'Argento coins of Naples. But I think the same ruling dynasty was involved in governance of Rome at the same time.

But despite all that, I agree it looks like brass which wouldn;t have been used back then for a coin
