Found this penny lookin thru a 1962 roll. There is doubling on the neck, lightly on the beard, doubling on the lower lip and upper lip, the bottom of the nose, lightly on the nose and doubling on the upper nose in to the brow. Is the MD or DDO? Thanx in advance for your time and replies

Finding the attribution number should be the first step to investigate. If you find nothing there, you probably have your answer.

The whole roll of these coins would be AU. Dad got these working at the bank in the mid 60's. They haven't been out of the roll in 55 years plus. I am probably the worst picture taker. Tried 7 different light bulbs, different placement of the light source. It feels like I might have tried standing on my head lol I am very frustrated with picture taking. sigh
I was under the impression new varieties can be found especially in rolls that haven't seen the light of day for 50 or 60 years. Just cause it isn't listed, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
There were actually 26 of these coins in the roll. About 7 were very strong on the doubling in all areas. The others appeared to be a little weaker in some spots. The neck, upper and lower lip areas and the very top of the nose remained fairly strong in all 26 coins. Not sure what I have here.

The first thing I do when I pull out a year of coins is investigate VV Wexler and CC. I jot notes down about each one I find and where and what to look for on my coin. If I think I have found something that matches my notes, I then go back to the site and reread about it, look at the pictures and then the markers.

That is a very good system. Just a note; when taking photos take them the exact same way they are on the reference site you are using. When posting attribution numbers type them exactly the same way they are on the reference sites and maybe even tell us from what site you got them from. John1
