A question for the seasoned collectors in reference to a 1776 - 1976 bicentennial quarter about the hands of the drummer. I've seen most of the errors, double dies, and strikes etc.. however I've noticed one of my coins has to many fingers on the drummer's hand, and another coin has to few fingers . Is anybody aware of this? I've double checked and compared to others I have in my possession and haven't seen this on any other coin. It's not greased or worn from coin machine etc..
I wish I could show you a picture however I haven't been able to get the pixels to the right degree to post. Should anybody know of this particular issue with the coins having to many or to few fingers on the drummer's hands I'd appreciate the assitance wherebi can check on this. Thank you

Check variety vista.com or wexlers to compare, that is an area for doubled die. Try to send pictures and someone here will tell you what you have.

Wow if I had known about Wexlers prior I would've sent the two bicentennial quarters. Apparently he is retiring and having somebody else take over I'll have to send them an email and see what happens. I saw that somebody on ebay was selling one with an extra finger however I looked at it very closely and it's a lie Where should I say you can't see it because of the imagine but I don't believe it's there mine actually has extra fingers full view full volume and the other one doesn't have all the fingers and it's not a grease. They do have the strike on however I found it to be quite shocking to see these two out of many. Thank you for telling me about Wexler. Didn't find anything on Vista.
