ijn1944 Bedrock of the Community United States 19129 Posts	Posted 03/16/2023 8:58 pm Yes, I suspect were looking at some mechanical vending machine damage from many years ago--especially with the last digit in the date. 'Old school' mechanisms were known for occasionally coming into contact with raised features on the outer perimeter of a coin's field as the mechanism was turned to accept the coin.
