Can anyone please help me identify if this is the Large or Small date? It weighs the 3.08 but I can never seem to spot the difference of the small date and large date even with a microscope. Attention to detail has eluded me for several years now..

Large Date.
Just look at the distance of the 2 from the rim.
If another 2 would fit in that space, it is a Small Date,
If it is closer to the rim, then it is a Large Date

Thank you so much! That really does make it a lot easier, I've been trying to compare the design of the 2s, but the distance to the rim is a dead giveaway now that I see it!

@ Aircraftmech01, sorry for my ignorance, but I have no idea why in the last time so many coins about 1982 cents LD or SM? Under MS-67 in almost no value. Please can you answer me at this question? In 1982 the production was half and half so?
