The 68s's are pretty noticeable. I'm not seeing it here. Maybe a little MD in the motto.

All the 1968 cents looked like that, that year. The swollen master hub was replaced the following year.

The Dies are create in a set pattern:
Possible-1968-S-DDO-LMC?
Note the first step is the Master hub? That is what is used to create the master dies. After many years, the master hub starts to swell. When this happens the devices move towards the outer edge of the die. So when the master dies are created with this issue (only two made, note the image) the Master hubs create the images on them that look like the coins. (Positives) The dies are all negatives. (Just mirror images of the coins) So there are also, Working hubs and Working dies. This is showing the chain of command on how the dies/hub are created.

The Hubs had the lugs on them:

Note the lug on the die? These are removed when the final alteration of the die is make ready for use.

Note the dies are mirrored compared with the coins.

Note they look like a coin? They are hubs.

Note the hubs look like coin designs. (Positives) the Dies are Mirrored. (Negatives) to form the positive coins.

Hope this helps.

CoopHome: What is a swollen hub? the dies are created with with the issue from the top on down.
