Leads me to believe both of these coins have experienced environmental toning/staining of some sort before you found them. Cujohn Pillar of the Community United States 7174 Posts	Posted 03/27/2023 5:32 pm I'm going to go against the grain here, like I always do on these cents. This is a plating problem. I found about 2 rolls of 95s that have from some to almost all of the plating missing in uncirculated String & sons rolls. If I hadn't found them in unc. rolls, I'd probably agree this is PMD. But finding them in uncirculated rolls tells me that they were like this from the mint. This is a pic of some of them. Report this Post to the Staff
