JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21586 Posts	Posted 04/01/2023 7:27 pm I was at a coin show today and purchased the new 2023 RedBook for $20.00 even, no tax. That works out to $14.80 US, cheaper than the book price of $17.95 US. Is that the going price in the States or are they cheaper. Report this Post to the Staff

Long-distance dealers with heavy, bulky items (such as books) will often slash the price near show's end, so they don't have to pay to ship them back with them. It's cheaper for them if they sell at a loss, than if they don't sell at all and have to go back home with them taking up space and weight in the luggage.
