Hi everyone, Found these today at a pawn shop. They're not in the best shape, just wondering what the pros think. They want 3.49 each. I don't know much about paper money. I kind of liked the serial numbers. Thanks Edited by Jess1234 04/02/2023 4:28 pm

That's what happens when we rely too much on technology. Speech to text .

Quote: I kind of liked the serial numbers. That's the great part about collecting. If you like them, then get them. From a value perspective, they aren't worth much more than face value. If it was me starting my paper money collection I would probably get the second one (N/P serial) and leave the first one behind. It's in better condition.

Thanks for the laugh Keith and for the advice Canada67. I finally left them both cause they were both pretty worn. The 2nd one had writing where the glare is on the front. So, I thought it best to stick with coins and bought these instead.

Nice pickup, Jess! But that was probably more than 3.49.

Yup! Just a bit Hondo. LOL! It was 39.99 each and he gave me each for 32$ tax in. So, 96$ tax included. Good buy?

If you paid around 30 bucks apiece for these notes due to their poor conditions and other problems, these notes 30 years from now will still be 30 bucks, but if you like them, thats cool

Hi John100,
I paid 32$ a piece for the packaged mint sets, not the notes.
Even I realized those notes were too damaged and left them behind. I liked those funky serial numbers, but got swept away by the shiny coins.
