I agree with others above assessing post mint damage. I don't see any doubling anywhere in your images. Any damage lowers a coin's value, so it's best to avoid them.
Not need to mention "
no mint mark" as it is known that a coin without that mint mark was minted In Philadelphia. D mint marks were minted in Denver, S mint marks in San Francisco.
If you haven't already, I'd do two things before hunting for errors or varieties. First, study how coins are minted (there is some good material here on CCF). Second, buy a copy of the U.S. Guidebook to Coins (referred to as the "
Red Book" of U.S. Coins). Don't be afraid to ask questions here as that's how we learn!
