On the 1909-VDB, there are only two known doubled dies, and they both center on Liberty and the date, and with Dearborn on various contact marks around...

So is the coin fake? I'm not sure what the conclusion is.

Quote: So is the coin fake? No, I believe this one to be very genuine. Our very good member Silviosi has his original language French (I think?), and it sometimes not too easy to understand when he speaks/types in English.

@ mrwhatisit If it is to speak? !! Is English for England or really North American and some time if occur will be Boston dialect (hard to understand this one). Typing yes, here where I am now I have to type French by law. So typing I made those mismatch, In same time I answer, I think also other things. I apologies for this, the point is I want to be the most possible accurate and share my knowledge. My Son like the coins for value and not more then this. Damage. For this coins I stand with previous post. Was not two different VDB in that period. The VDB changed much more later. PS; On this coin are not the dots, the point is the letter B, and also the all V.D.B. On the forensic we analyze like this.
