I see no Cud on this coin. A Cud affects the outer edge of the coins design. Looks like a die chip on the left planter if that is what you are looking at. A Cud would be like this:

Die chips are just die events. They don't retire a die. A Die Cud is an end of life for the dies. So while many chips will come along, it is not sever enough to retire a die. There can be hundreds of thousands of die chips struck with a die with that issue. But Die Cuds are a limited number. (End of the dies life)

Richard, thank you for the refresher on Cuds.
Cuds-on-coins.com lists a variety of die events that include pre-cuds, Cuds, significant die chips, breaks, cracks, spike heads, etc.... similar to one on the reverse of my 1972 D. My 1972D didn't make the cut.
Cuds-on-coins.com is a great resource for identifying many die events such as:
Cuds on U.S. Coins (CU)
Cuds On World Coins (CU)
Pre Cuds on U.S. Coins (PC/RCD)

Retained Interior Die Breaks On US & World Coins (RIDB)
Shattered Dies on U.S. Coins (SHD)

that looks like a very nice (big) die crack going up column 2, from the bottom of the monument to the top - and a smaller one going up column 1.
