Small Dollar Varieties And Errors - Coin Community Forum

chirrrs Valued Member United States 164 Posts	Posted 04/04/2023 07:30 am Is there a comprehensive resource that has varieities and errors for small dollars? I have the Cherry Pickers Guide, but it's the 4th edition and only has SBA and the 2000 Sacagawea dollars. My dad picked up a box to roll hunt, so I've just separated them by year so far. Lots of BUs that we'll probably pick at least one of each year and mint from, but no idea how many are worth keeping beyond that. I've never roll hunted small dollars before, so I'm not really sure how this will go. Everything I have found so far is just a little bit here and there on various websites, but nothing that has everything in one place. It seems like there might not be that many, but I don't really know. Beyond that, I might also need a resource for State Quarters, but that might be easier to find, and that's a problem for another day. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

That link from smalldollars appears to only have what is in the Cherry Picker's Guide and the link from varietyvista has just two DDOs, both from 1999. It looks like there's just not much out there for the SBA dollars other than the 79 wide rim and the proof RPMs. Good to know though. I have yet to really dive too deep into the Sacagawea and Presidential dollars, but if there's not much there either, perhaps roll hunting small dollars may not be worth tying up so much money for so little to search for.
