Thoughts ? I'm thinking F15 but I'm new to this.

VF-20 or 30 but heavily cleaned. Here's 2 sites that can help you get your grip on grading:

The 2nd link above works just fine on my machine and has the best grading scale for the last 25 years. Try putting this last one in your web browser, not clicking on the link. Just copy and paste.

Thanks Okiecoiner; VF20 was my first instinct but my lack of experience has me second guessing myself.

As for cleaning, yeah I thought this and the 1862 NewBrunswick looked like they were cleaned with an old SOS pad.but there still value in both.

VF 20, but not heavily cleaned imo.

There's very little wear this coin. And there's still grime in the devices. The Reverse looks to be uncleaned, but the Obverse fields look like someone tried to wipe it clean at some point. I don't think a cleaning agent was used. Maybe just a cloth of some kind, wiped hard and repeated a little?

I'd put it at VF35, decent amount of detail on the OBV. Cleaned, quite a few hairlines both sides.
