I am new to coin collecting and came across this 1922 D Wheat cent with a weak D. Are these worth sending out to a grading service?

Please do not post photos of your scopes monitor screen, the quality is not good enough.

I'm not an expert on Lincoln's but the weak D that I see online appear much weaker than yours to me. Any 22-d is a great find in my opinion. Nice coin.

Please provide well-lit pics of both sides and a sharp closeup of the date area. Your pics so far are of little use.

Agree with @Dearborn that despite the teeny fuzzy photos I can make out enough of the mintmark to say to me eye this is a normal 1922-D.

Nice find, but not worth the $ it would take for TPG evaluation.

Normal 22D, not a weak D.
