I found this 1994 P LMC with what looks like an extra pillar in the 12th column that doesn't quite match the known DDR variety. The coin is in BU condition, could there be something here? Should I send it in for attribution or toss it? Thanks in advance :)

The shaded area between the columns is raised, I'm definitely curious to see coops thoughts on this.

@Dearborn.... Your commented to a post I made about floating roof ...and you were correct, about the polishing. Have have concerns about the columns, always have. I do have some similar to the posters column and some that are polished columns that appear to be an error but it got polished out it wasn't a shadow. I have a few that I'm very curious about because of the structure of the column, we're some of them are half of a column, some are missing the lines in the columns and they're uncirculated but don't look polished out, some appear wonky where it's missing half of the top and then it's fat at the bottom etc. I'm more than patient to wait LOL I haven't been on here much cuz I've been quite busy.

Yeah, I'm not an expert on the columns on these memorial cents, So I too hope that Coop, or maybe Makecents would chime in.
2Fox says it is raised, which perplexes me.

Note the same thing is seen above that column? So it is probably fading die scratches on that area of the die. (Image #3)
