While that close-up image is really well done, I'm not seeing doubling on the mintmark. For sure there is flattening due to circulation wear and a small ding on the body of the letter S. In which direction do you see another letter S?

I'm not sure if you have looked on here for a close-up of the mintmark and position, if not here you go.

The comments they have are - "This die has traditionally not been accepted as a repunched mint mark. Something like a die or gouge appears in the top loop of the S."
