I've been collecting Indian cent errors since the late 80's. I've been down to just needing 5 dates with errors on them for a few years, and I just checked 1874 off the list. This one is 40% off enter, VG8-details, Graffiti. It ties my 1865 for being the most off center I have.

robbudo, that's fantastic! The "graffiti" is not a distraction at all - I would have thought it was just scratches. Congratulations on your acquisition.

Very nice off center, I'm glad the mint was nice enough to make sure the date was showing and up right.
But is it the lighting or am I seeing a silvery color on the rims?

Dearborn, I think it's in a 2X2 or some other holder.

Having full date on a off center makes it more appealing. Nice indeed!

Thanks for the comments all. Yes - it's in an ANACS slab which was placed over the dark blue surface. I intend on breaking it free. I saw the "Graffiti" noted on the slab before I saw the coin - and was expecting so much worse.
