Hey guys... So I'm sorry if this ? Seem stupid but I found this dime today and wasn't going to put it under the scope but I did. N What kind of caught me off guard is the color not the green but of it how it kinda looks like a matte silver. and I assumed the green was environmental damage. But, when I took a closer look at it, you can see in the pictures it kind of looks like it flows with the not sure correct term but lines? of the coin especially on the obverse. And the details of coin aren't in too bad of shape. No severe fading.. Maybe a die scratch or 2 and some doubling on the reverse in ONE CENT? Idk, Any input and information is very much appreciated..

Don't know how it happened but I think it is environmental damage. Also, please no photos of your scopes screen.

The lines you ate seeing are called 'roller lines' created by the machine that thins out the material to the correct thickness.

The lines are showing rolling lines on the planchet. Thus when the original surface is removed, the rolling lines are seen easier. Just a normal coin example.
