I'm new to looking for coins with errors. I'm having fun and off to a good start, but I'm curious about a 2013 D nickel with a stamp on the top left of his coat that I think reads JNF or possibly JNE. Then there's about stamp on the bottom right of his coat that reads either BE or GE. Can someone tell me if my eyes are playing tricks on me or if these are supposed to be there or not. Thanks -Ash

to the CCF Those are the initials of designers of the coins. They are on every modern coin minted.

One set of initials is the designer and the other is the engraver.
