Some strike weakness noticeable in the hair above the braid, as well as the head and shoulder of the Buffalo. EMDS-MDS. Some light friction rub at the high points, shouldn't affect grade. Luster in the protected areas. Taking strike into account, I'll say AU50. As inconsistent as they are on buffs, could be a grade in either direction.

I'll say EF-40 by a hair.

AU-50 was my initial reaction, so I'll stick with it. Buffs are a shot in the dark for me most times.

dont like the yellow filtered color as its altering the surfaces to determine luster
reverse weak strike. flatness of fur on head, horn and tail. some die polishing going on on the the rear hock and feather 1. very little wear on the top of the head and tops of the feathers where they cross as well as high points of the cheek, nose and brow. sharp lettering
this is a nice 26(P) and I have it at AU55. would like to see this one in better lighting to see the luster

well so far you have XF40 to AU55. goes to show how challenging it is to grade Buffs especially the earlier one.

Close call, doesn't really surprise.

This is a good example of buffs being tricky to grade from images. Second image posted looks a lot closer to a VF coin than the first set of pics. Different angles and different lighting play a big factor.

well. looks like PCGS parsed this out to someone who had no idea how to grade these. this coin is not a 35 not even close
