So I was just wondering the rarity and possible value above face value, (if any).
I figure these have got to be rare, which I would think they would be sought after.
And of course all of those factors, I would think above face value would be deserving. But not real sure. Thanks.

Nothing special; plenty of bills in those series years end with a Y.

You should get these slabbed and sell them on ebay, I think you'll get at least a $1 for each.

Even if there was a small premium, the condition of the bills would negate it.

X and Y notes are "kind of" hard to come by these days. But if you search hard enough you will be able to find some. I've been ATM/STRAP searching $200-$600 a day (not weekends) for the last three years. I only found around 6-10 "Y" notes and a few of them in almost uncirculated condition.

Are they worth anything? Maybe to right person but not that much over face.
I like to keep the them just for the fun of it.

JimmyD and Luckyrollers nailed it. Although they don't turn up often, they're out there. Condition on most modern $1 notes is what drives prices. I would not lose a minute's sleep after spending them.

elliot, Steve in Tampa posted this site for me awhile back to check on group numbers. uspapermoney.info Look for 'Groups'. A good site that will help you to know what to look for.

Thank You luckyrollers. 6 to 10 in 3 years worth of nearly daily hunting. That definitely is "harder to find" i'd say...
And SteveInTampa and JimmyD as well, thank you for your shared knowledge.
MakeNoCentsToMe, thank you for the line. Most appreciated.
As I've said before this forum rocks
