Nice images.
If you are hoping for replies it's usually a good idea to add some commentary to give people an idea of what you are questioning.

And adding a link makes it easy for them to find any markers.

This is a subtle variety so it's good for your images to duplicate the markers and/or doubling shown on the sites.

I'm not seeing anything to confirm your question in the title. Maybe if you are able to duplicate some separation as shown on VV it will help us.

I agree with Pete, comments are a nice additive besides just the title.
nice find. I like the image showing the double dot in EPU.
nice find and hard to see if you don't know that to look for.

While you are looking in the right areas, the spread is not there on your coin. The devices be enlarged a bit. The marks on the tops of the devices are just coin contact/rub on the tops of the devices.

Quote:
1984 DDR-001 Description:
Description: Light spread and extra thickness on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

1984 DDR-002:
Description: Light spread on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLURIBUS UNUM with very light spread on ONE CENT.

When you have an example, compare it with a normal coin to see if the devices are enlarged on the descriptions on the sites.
That will help to see which one it is. (keep in mind that this site include all the devices, normal and doubled. So you have to see the spread on those devices as the other images will be normal sized devices. Why do they incluse the normal devices? There may be die scratches or die events that may be on these other areas that might be a marker for that die state) So not all the devices will be affected on a doubled die. If the ones that are listed are not present on your coin, then it is not that die number. It could even be a new one if not listed on this site. So check the other sites to see what they have listed. But if there is no spread on the devices, it is probably just from a normal die. Hope this helps?

Note the spread lines on the tops of these devices? Depending on how much wear the tops of the devices, these can be also worn off the coin.
Wexler has a lot of DDO and DDR's listed on his site.

Study these and see if you can spot the DDR, if not, read the information, then it will help train your eyes for your future searches. The more you learn on a subject, they more you can use that information.

Here is what I found on wexler site WDDR 003 I found some die markers but not all might be different die stage. Sending new pics. Thinking about sending to V.V.site to get Authentiated. I would like to know what it is. Thanks for all your help Bentpenny.

You know this might be a new find so it's worth it to me to send it in to V.V. site to find out then I will know one way or the other what it is or what it isn't. Bentpenny
