I have a few 1/2 oz silver coins, that need encapsulated. They measure 32.15mm. What size would be best to go with? 32.5mm or 33mm. I figured the 33 may be best incase of tolerance differences in the id but would probably rattle pretty good. Open to suggestions.

See if you can find the ones with the foam rings. A 32mm foam ring should easily stretch to 32.15mm.

Thanks for the reply. Guess no one has had any experience with this situation.

I always search for what sizes are recommended for each SPECIFIC coin. BStrauss3 is more than likely correct but, it would be helpful to know what exact coins you have. You may get more recommendations or we'll just go by BStrauss3's answer.

No need to YELL. And I have researched and found no conclusive answers. Air Tite does not list a recommendation. Coins are Canadian Devil's brigade. Plus, measurements for coin was given in first post. Specific coin should not matter, unless it was an unusual thickness.

Quote: If we do not have an exact size match for your coin, we recommend rounding down your coin's diameter to determine which Air-Tite to get. For example, if your coin is 32.3mm, we recommend getting a 32mm Air-Tite. https://air-tites.com/collections/m...32mm-black-1

I don't have any experience with capsules but it doesn't seem like a quarter-millimeter on each side of the coin is going to make much difference. That's the width of two hairs.

Will post this incase anyone has a similar question.
Stopped by the LCS and picked up a 32mm. Coin fits just fine with a little room to spare.
