Wow, thank you for the kind responses. You've got me excited to learn more about my collection and the community in general. I will get some pictures and weights of the others and start posting them this evening. Would love to see other examples of wrong planchet die caps if anyone has a link or photo. Thank you!

Barrett157 what a remarkable collection you have there. This is a find for the ages! Regards and good luck. It will be expensive to stab them, but well worth the effort! I am extremely jealous!

Very nice errors. 10 coins: if not member, 500$ graded with PCGS. Less expensive will be ANACS for around 200$. Will be better if you has attribute first with Mike, and then send for grading.
Glad to see those with legitim question for grading and rarity and not scrap coins.

Thank you for the grading recommendations. The grading process is very intimidating to me. The cost is not an issue if the coins hold a value even slightly higher than the grading costs.

The nickel located in the upper left corner looks like it might very well be a foldover strike. On nickels, such errors generally command prices in the $4000 range. You might want to start with that one.

Dang, that is a "best of" assortment of errors there. Whoever initially assembled that collection knew what they were doing.

to the CCF and holy cats. WHAT A COLLECTION. I wouldn't worry about cost of grading. Out of 10 shown, most of us would be happy with one. Can't wait to see the rest.

Thank you for the generous offer silviosi. Will probably take you up on that once I have a better idea of what is worth sending and what is not.

I have also some ideas of how to do, where to go for the better results. But always will be your decisions. Normal now PCGS waiting time 4 to 6 month. Valuable, could be result in one week.

PCGS waiting time is not 4-6 months, that is exaggerated.
Friend just got theirs back and it only took 2 months.

NUMI, you was lucky. If you come on PCGS forum you will be surprise about rarities and rare errors delays. Normal coins go fast not others. Theirs focus is 4 or 5 entities for those coins. Minor error coins will be faster but not for the coins what I see here.
